Orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD's) is when the face and mouth muscles are not in sync creating dysfunctional movement. The under or over use of these muscles may manifest in a wide range of health concerns, including dysfunctional breathing, improper tongue posture, contributing factor to malocclusion, and orofacial pain. Through targeted myofunctional therapy, I help individuals restore proper oral rest posture, improve nasal breathing, and achieve each individuals optimal oral function. I collaborate closely with dentists, orthodontists, ENTs, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment plans that support whole-body health.
By addressing the underlying causes rather than just the symptoms, my goal is to help both children and adults improve their airway health, sleep quality, and overall well-being. Whether you or your child are struggling with tongue-tie, mouth breathing, or oral dysfunction, I’m here to provide a holistic and natural approach to care with guidance tailored to your specific needs.
Let’s work together to restore function, enhance health, and promote long-term wellness.
